What’s new in DirectoryCraft.

AI chat now includes conversation history, a new chat action, and a single status showing what is happening currently. Stop an active request directly from the send button. Automatic model fallback helps requests continue when a model is unavailable, while clearer errors help explain generation failures.

The sidebar now fits below the notification strip and keeps the prompt box visible. Section controls include a styling shortcut and accessible delete controls. Simple listing detail pages now share the same layout and listing data formatting in the Design tab and the published site.

Describe your directory to generate an initial site with pages, collections, and starter content. Continue the conversation in the editor to refine sections, styling, and collection bindings. AI changes stay in your draft until you publish, and failed generations preserve the existing draft.

Improved section spacing, backgrounds, and rich text rendering across directory pages. Changes made in the visual editor now stay in sync more reliably, with more consistent presentation between the editor and public pages.

Collections now support icon fields, and searchable field controls make it easier to configure your directory. Submission forms support draft settings so you can prepare changes before publishing. We also improved submit page editing and project switching, and simplified the template selection to Simple.

Added a visual website builder for customizing directory pages, layouts, sections, and public site presentation without writing code. Builders can now edit home pages, listing pages, and custom pages from a visual interface, then publish changes to the live directory site.

Added CSV imports for dynamic collections. Each collection can now be imported separately with a schema-specific CSV example file generated from that collection's current fields, including support for statuses, ranks, select fields, multi-select fields, references, dates, booleans, media URLs, and required field checks.

Added dedicated feature pages for key DirectoryCraft capabilities, including submissions and paid listings, custom fields, CSV import, SEO, custom domains, themes, monetization, team collaboration, no-code setup, and fast MVP launches.

We also refreshed the main /features page to better organize Launch, Growth, Platform, and Content features.

DirectoryCraft now supports paid listing submissions with Stripe checkout, including a post‑payment confirmation state before redirecting submitters back to the directory home page. This makes it easier to accept paid submissions on your directory website and keep payment status in sync via Stripe webhooks.
